Shaikh Mohamed Alramah was born in Zingbar, Yemen in 1912.
His father was a tribal Leader who ruled a province in Zingbar, Yemen.
After his father's passing, he embarked on a journey that led him to Sudan around 1927.
He started working as a driver, transporting oil products, to various rural areas in Port Sudan.
Shaikh Mohamed and his friend the late Abdo Rabou Al-Leswas set up a partnership named " Alramah & Abdo Rabou".
They were later awarded the agency of Mobil Oil and Shell, Mercantile Trading Company, exclusive dealership of Vauxhall Motors, Bedford Lorries, Land Rovers, Opel Motors and various spare parts.
Subsquently, they set up a Bedford Lorries assembly plant in Port- Sudan in the 1960's.

Shaikh Mohamed AlRamah was highly regarded within the business community of Port Sudan, where he served as an esteemed "Arbitrator" in local disputes. His expertise and fair judgment were widely acknowledged, and he played a significant role in resolving conflicts and fostering positive relationships among business entities in the area.
He has three sons and three daughters.
His eldest son, Mr. Amin Alramah,, is engaged in the transport and tourism business and founded Red Sea Safari in the early 1980s
